Crime Report: Vehicle Trailer Stolen from Lincoln Ave.

Vehicles were targets for a handful of crimes last week according to the latest City of Falls Church Crime Report released today.

According to the September 1-7 report, two vehicles were broken into and robbed as an iPod was taken from a vehicle at Sonic Car Wash last Monday and a purse was stolen from a car at Eden Center on Wednesday. Also, last Tuesday, a trailer was reported stolen from a vehicle on Lincoln Avenue.

In other crime report news, there were two DUIs including one involving an accident on Annandale Road.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: September 1 – 7, 2014

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 1000 block W. Broad St. (Sonic Car Wash) On Sep. 1, an iPod was reported stolen from a vehicle.

Stolen Vehicle, 1000 block Lincoln Ave. On Sep. 2, a vehicle trailer was reported stolen.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage) On Sep. 3, a male, 43, of Suffolk, VA, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Saigon Xua Restaurant) On Sep. 3, a male, 53, of Fairfax, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Saigon Xua Restaurant) On Sep. 3, a male, 55, of Fairfax, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Saigon Xua Restaurant) On Sep. 3, a male, 33, of Centreville, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Trespass, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 3, a male, 39, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Larceny from Vehicle, 6763 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 3, an unknown person damaged a car window and stole a purse.

Driving Under the Influence, 900 block Hillwood Ave. On Sep. 6, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 34, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block E. Annandale Rd. On Sep. 7, an officer responded to a report of an accident. One of the drivers, a male, 31, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence
