The Falls Church Education Foundation raised a record-breaking $80,000 in net revenue at its ninth annual gala last month at the Washington Golf and Country Club. The newly formatted event also resulted in a record number of ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships.
The money – raised through those avenues, as well as live and silent auctions – will help to fund a variety of school programs as well as science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum from the elementary level through high school.
