Marshall Academy Students to Host 5-Star Market

Thirty student-operated businesses will offer items for sale at Marshall Academy’s annual 5-Star Market on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. The market, which offers entrepreneurship students an opportunity to practice what they are learning, is open to the community for purchases and will be held in the cafeteria of George C. Marshall High School.

The 5-Star Market will feature 30 student-operated businesses selling items that include earrings, necklaces, bracelets, scarves, watches, multiple varieties of winter hats, sunglasses, cell phone and media cases, a selection of brand name perfumes, gloves, earmuffs, and children’s items. Entrepreneurship students traveled to the New York City Wholesale District in October to purchase products to sell as business owners at the 5-Star Market. Those attending the 5-Star Market are asked to sign in at the main office of Marshall High School when visiting. Marshall High School is located at 7731 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church.
