Fundraisers Sales to Bring in Money for City Schools

Two fundraisers currently underway will let schools supporters use their purchasing power to raise money for Falls Church City Public Schools.

The Falls Church Education Foundation, which supports all City schools, is sponsoring a holiday pie sale, and the Falls Church City Band Boosters are raising funds through a plant sale.

The order deadline for the Falls Church City Band Boosters plant sale is Oct. 26. All proceeds will support the George Mason High School’s spring performance trip to New York City. Plants can be ordered at flowerpowerfundraising.com/campaign?campaign_id=13008.

The Falls Church Education Foundation is selling pies by MOM’s Apple Pie at $18 apiece in a variety of flavors. These fresh-baked pies were awarded “Best Pies” honors in June 2010 by Southern Living magazine.

Payment must be submitted by Nov. 9. Orders can be emailed to gabriela.sandoz@gmail.com or mailed to FCEF, 800 W. Broad St., Suite 203, Falls Church, VA 22046. The pick-up date is Nov. 19, from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m., at Mason.
