Falls Church-based Compassion for Animals will conduct a guided tour of Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary, near Poolesville, Maryland, from 1 – 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23.

Poplar Spring is a 400-acreproperty which provides a permanent home for abused, abandoned, and neglected farm animals.

Those taking part in the tour can see cows, pigs, horses, chickens, goats, sheep and turkeys of all ages.
