One of Falls Church’s biggest hot spots is celebrating their birthday this weekend and is inviting everyone to join in the fun.
Dogwood Tavern (132 West Broad St.) is having their 2nd Year Anniversary Party on Saturday with a special afternoon Happy Hour and featuring live music from the band “Hair of the Dog.” Dogwood is the latest iteration of 132 West Broad and, by far, the most successful of the bunch. With a lively, friendly atmosphere, attentive bar staff and a solid menu from top to bottom, it’s deserving of all the praise and crowds they attract. If you can’t make it for the party this weekend, it shouldn’t stop you from hitting them up for a bite or a drink. In addition to food and drink specials through the week, Sunday night they have deals on half and full racks of ribs, Monday night is wing night and on Tuesday, their raw bar offers up deals on shrimp, oysters, clam, mussels and snow crabs.
