Chipotle Officially Coming to City

Chipotle Mexican Grill has just signed its lease to operate out of Duron Paint’s former space in Broadale Shopping Center in the 300 block of W. Broad Street. The restaurant, which has more than a 1,000 locations nationwide, prides itself of serving “Food with Integrity” made from natural ingredients from sustainable resources and animals that are raised in a humane way, and never given antibiotics or added hormones. Novus Construction Moves to F.C.

Novus Construction has moved within the City of Falls Church to 803 West Broad Street, Suite 510. In addition, the company’s website, www.novusone.com, is newly updated. Novus Construction is an Architecture and Construction company owned by licensed Architect and City resident, Jeff DuBro, and operated in the greater Falls Church area for the past decade.

 

SmithGiffod Named ‘Best In Show’ at ADDYs

SmithGifford, the Falls Church-based ad agency, won Best of Show at the prestigious Washington D.C. ADDY Awards for the second year in a row. Smith-Gifford was recognized for their work for their Identity Guard advertising which was filmed in Africa. The agency also won 17 other awards for such clients like the National Geographic Museum and The Virginia Lottery. Tax Prep Assistance Sponsored by The Falls Church

Employers and employees alike will be pleased to learn that The Falls Church Anglican is sponsoring “Walk-in” Tax Filing preparation assistance by IRS certified volunteers from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturdays through April 11. Sponsor a Band at F.C. Memorial Day Parade

The City of Falls Church is offering businesses the opportunity to sponsor a marching band for the 29th Annual Memorial Day Parade. The City is seeking business support to help provide participating bands with travel expenses. Sponsors will be recognized on a banner in front of the sponsored band, in the printed official parade line-up and by the parade’s emcee. Between 10,000 and 15,000 spectators are expected to attend. Youth Entrepreneur Contest Accepting Applications

Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area is accepting applications for its 7th Annual Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Competition, sponsored by Ernst & Young.
