CANCER SURVIVORS AND FIGHTERS ALIKE joined family and friends for the 2009 Falls Church Relay for Life fundraising event last weekend at George Mason High School, where participants paid tribute to lives lost to the disease. The 24-hour event, however, was cut short due to rain. The closing ceremony has been rescheduled for this Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, located at 7130 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church.
