The University of Mary Washington has announced its dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2010-11 academic year. The dean’s list recognizes outstanding academic achievement by full-time students who attain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0.
Jacqueline M. Pacella, a resident of Falls Church was named to first honors on the Clark University dean’s list.

Molina Healthcare, which manages the Fairfax County Community Health Care Network clinics, recently donated $1,000 to Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter in Falls Church. The donation went to purchasing new patio furniture and a new grill for the homeless facility.
Real estate tax relief is available to income-eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities, who live in the City of Falls Church, through the City Treasurer’s Office. The deadline to apply is April 15.
