Police Body Cameras Coming Soon in F.C.

F.C. City Manager Wyatt Shields told the News-Press Wednesday that the City is going ahead with the acquisition of body cameras for members of its police department in the current fiscal year based on the receipt of grant funds for that purpose.

The cameras should arrive in the next couple months, he said.

The City will use some of its anticipated $650,000 surplus in the current fiscal year to set up the ongoing operation of the program.
