Tinner Hill Announces MLK Day March in F.C.

Edwin Henderson of the Falls Church-based Tinner Hill Foundation for the advancement of civil rights announced at Monday’s meeting of the Falls Church City Council that it is organizing a march from the Tinner Hill monument on S. Washington St. to the Falls Church City Hall on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday Monday, January 16.

A program on civil rights and racial healing will follow in the Council chambers at City Hall, he said.
