Falls Church dentist Robert Morabito, whose offices are located at 6200 Wilson Blvd. Ste. 114, Falls Church, and his team participated in the annual Mission of Mercy/Remote Area Mercy in Wise during the July 22-24 weekend. The theme of the weekend was “Make America Smile Again.”

Over 1,200 patients received dental care and dentists and their teams donated over $1,306,000. Patients came from as far as North Carolina, Tennesse, West Virginia and Kentucky to receive services. The event, which was started by the Virginia Dental Association, is the oldest and largest one in the nation.

In past years Morabito and his team have focused on fillings, extractions and cleanings, but placed an emphasis on complete smile rehabilitation through a new process from Benchmark dental that allows dentists to fabricate new upper and lower dentures in approximately two hours. At the event, Morabito was able to provide more than 100 dentures.

“I am truly honored and humbled to have been joined by my team, several of their children and my father-in- law giving back, changing lives and restoring dignity” Morabito said.
