Crime Report: Vehicle Stolen from N. Washington St., 2 Assaults & Shoplifting at 7-Eleven

A vehicle was stolen from the IM Autohaus on N. Washington St. last Thursday, according to the latest City of Falls Church crime report. The vehicle was later recovered after it turned up in Prince Georges Co.

In other crime, two people shoplifted food from 7-Eleven, a woman assaulted a person during a customer dispute on Hillwood Ave. and a person received minor injuries after being assaulted at Eden Center.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: July 4 – 10, 2016

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #1E (Café Metro) On July 6, a male, 45, of Springfield, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Shoplifting, 110 N. West St. (7-Eleven) On July 7, two unknown suspects left the store with unpaid food merchandise.

Stolen Vehicle, 551 N. Washington St. (IM Autohaus) On July 7, a customer’s vehicle was reported stolen sometime overnight. The vehicle was later recovered in Prince George’s Co., MD.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block W. Broad St. On July 7,an unknown suspect broke a car window and stole several items from the victim.

Assault, 100 block Hillwood Ave. On July 8, police received a report that an unknown female assaulted the victim during a customer dispute. No injuries were reported.

Public Drunkenness, 400 block N. Washington St. On July 9, a female, 25, of Vienna, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Assault, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On July 10, police received a report of an assault. The victim sustained minor injures.
