Mason HS Senior Tim Winters Wins $20,000 Scholarship

Tim Winters, a senior at George Mason High School and member of Mason’s robotics team 1418 Team Vae Victis, was recently awarded a Design Innovation scholarship from FIRST Robotics and Worchester Polytechnic Institute. He won the award based a presentation he made on the robot he and his team built this year.

The scholarship is worth $20,000 over four years at Worchester Polytechnic Institute, where Winters will be attending in the fall. For more information, visit wpi.edu/admissions/undergraduate/apply/firstscholarships.html.
