Crime Report: After FCNP Report, Another Vehicle Break-In Spree Hits City of Falls Church

Just a week after the News-Press ran a feature story on the outbreak of vehicle break-ins in the City of Falls Church, another break-in spree has hit the City. In the latest crime report released Monday, police say a “number of vehicles” on N. Tuckahoe St., E. Broad St., E. Seaton Circle, Wren’s Way, Timber Lane and Berry St. were tampered with and stolen from over the weekend. The police did not disclose the number of vehicles involved and say an investigation is continuing.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: April 25 – May 1, 2016

Driving Under the Influence, 700 block S. Washington St. On Apr. 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 39 of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Apr. 25, a laptop was reported stolen.

Trespass, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Apr. 26, a male, Jr., 54, of Fredericksburg, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (H2O Restaurant) On Apr. 27, a female, 39, of Springfield, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block Park Ave. On Apr. 28, a female, 21, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Vehicle. Tampering with Auto, April 30 – May 1 – a number of vehicles were involved from the 900 blk of N. Tuckahoe St, 400 blk E. Broad St., 1300 blk E. Seaton Circle, 300 blk of Wren’s Way, 400 blk of Timber Lane and 700 blk Berry St. Investigation continues.
