Fairfax Co. Police Investigating After Finding Body in F.C. Creek

Fairfax County police are investigating the death of white man whose body was found in Tripps Run Creek near the 3000 block of Dashiell Road around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, according to a press release from the Fairfax County Police Department. Officers reported that the body appeared to be in the water for a period of time when it was found.

The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further examination. The medical examiner will determine cause and manner of death. Detectives have not yet identified the man and are continuing their investigation.
