Local Book Club Featured on ‘Book Club for Kids’ Podcast

The newest episode of the Book Club for Kids podcast, published on Wednesday, Nov. 4, features the daughters of the Mother-Daughter Book Club that meets monthly at One More Page Books, located on the edge of Arlington County at 2200 N. Westmoreland Street.

While moms went out for coffee, the middle graders discussed A Mango Shaped Space by Wendy Mass with host Kitty Felde. The novel is the story of a young girl who sees colors when she does math problems. Writer Wendy Mass tells how the idea hit her – literally – when a book on the topic fell off a shelf at her local library and hit her in the shin.

Los Angeles radio reporter Claudia Peschiutta was the celebrity reader on the episode, which was taped at One More Page. For more information or to listen to the episode, visit bookclubforkids.org.
