Crime Report: Another Car Break-In in the City of Falls Church

Car breaks-ins in the City of Falls Church continued yet again this past week with a wallet stolen from a vehicle on Chanel Terrace. This is the the latest in a string of vehicle thefts that have plagued the City in recent weeks.

In other crime, personal items were stolen from a communal laundry room on E. Fairfax St., two people were arrested for possession of marijuana and a 22 year-old Falls Church man was arrested for resisting arrest after fleeing from officers serving him a warrant.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: October 26 – November 1, 2015

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Chanel Terr. On Oct. 27, a wallet was reported stolen from the victim’s vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 200 block E. Fairfax St. On Oct. 27, unattended personal items were stolen from a communal laundry room.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block Great Falls St. On Oct. 29, a female, 53, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 1200 block Ellison St. On Oct. 30, the victim reported oil was poured on a vehicle.

Narcotics Violation, 600 block S. Washington St. On Oct. 30, a male, 20, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Narcotics Violation, 100 block Chanel Terr. On Oct. 31, Jonathan R. James, 24, of Annandale was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. a female, 20, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Liquor Law Violation, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Nov. 1, a male, 42, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and released on summons.

Resisting Arrest, 100 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 1, a male, 22, of Falls Church, was arrested for Resisting Arrest after fleeing officers who attempting to serve Fairfax County warrant for Possession of Cocaine.
