Crime Report: Spree of Car Break-Ins Continues

Seven more vehicles were broken into or tampered with in the City of Falls Church is the past week, according to the latest crime report. Five cars were broken into last Monday and another two were robbed on Wednesday resulting in stolen personal items and cash.

In non-car larceny news, pumpkins were stolen from a house on E. Columbia Street and liquor was shoplifted from the ABC Store on W. Broad.

City of Falls Church Crime Report: October 19 – 25, 2015

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 700 block Highland Ave. On Oct.19, personal items were reported stolen from two vehicles.

Tampering with Auto, 600 block N. West St. On Oct. 19, the victim’s unlocked vehicle was found in disarray.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 200 block N. Lee St. On Oct.19, cash was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Narcotics Violation, 312 Hillwood Ave. (Larry Graves Park) On Oct. 20, a female, 18, of The City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 200 block N. West St. On Oct. 20, cash was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 400 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 20, personal items were reported stolen from a vehicle.

Obstruction of Justice, 6607 Wilson Blvd. (BJ’s Wholesale) On Oct. 20, a male, 26, of Falls Church, was arrested for Obstruction of Justice.

Larceny from Building, 200 block E Columbia St.. On Oct. 23, pumpkins were reported stolen from the victim’s residence.

Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (Virginia ABC Store) On Oct. 23, liquor was reported stolen from the store.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 (H20 Café) On Oct. 24 a male, 39, of Lorton, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. A male, 32, of Falls Church, was cited for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Oct. 25, a male, 52, of Stafford, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.
