Matalon Wins at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships

Maia Matalon, a student at a local martial arts school, won her division at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships, which were held in Long Beach, Calif. at the end of May. Matalon is a student and instructor at Fifty/50 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is located at 929 W. Broad Street #103 and won the brown belt heavyweight division at the competition.
