A woman got trapped under a Toyota RAV4 in front of the Eden Center on Wilson Boulevard in Falls Church after being struck by it while she was crossing the street. Arlington County Fire Department’s technical rescue company responded to the scene, lifting the SUV up and removing the victim.
The woman was transported to the local hospital with life-threatening injuries and the driver stayed on the scene. Police said that speed and alcohol are not in the crash and that they don’t anticipate that they’ll bring charges against the driver, although the crash is still under investigation.
