Another week of City of Falls Church Crime Reports and another week of vehicle crime. Eight of 11 crimes reported in today’s release involved a vehicle including three vandalisms (smashed windshield, dented car and punctured tire), two larcenies (stolen car stereos and smash and grab of a purse) and two DUIs.
In other crime, electronics and jewelry were stolen from a residence on N. West Street, a cell phone was taken from an unlocked locker at the City’s General District Court and someone shoplifted at 7-Eleven.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 900 block Ellison St. On Dec. 8, a windshield was smashed sometime overnight.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 30 Hillwood Ave. (Hillwood Auto) On Dec. 9, car stereo components and other items were stolen from two vehicles
Burglary, 700 block N West. St. On Dec. 9, an unknown suspect gained entry to the residence and stole electronics and jewelry.
Larceny from Building, 300 Park Ave. (Falls Church General District Court) On Dec. 10, a cell phone was reported stolen from an unsecured locker.
Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Little Falls St. On Dec. 11, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 31, of Watervliet, NY, was
arrested from Driving Under the Influence.
Larceny from Vehicle, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Dec. 12, a car window was smashed and a purse was stolen.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 200 block E. Fairfax St. On Dec. 12, police received a report that a car was dented by an unknown object.
Shoplifting, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Dec. 13, merchandise was stolen from the store. The suspect is described as a White male, approximately 25-20 years old, 200 pounds,
stocky build, with a beard.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Dec. 13, an unknown person punctured a tire.
Driving Under the Influence, 7100 block Leesburg Pike On Dec. 14, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 26, of Falls Church, was
arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Great Falls St. On Dec. 14, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 22, of Herndon, was
arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
