Falls Church Arts Announces Next Reception, Holiday Party

Falls Church Arts is having its Meet the Artist reception for its Functional Arts Show next Thursday, Dec. 11, at ArtSpace Falls Church, located at 410 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church, Falls Church Arts president Barb Cram announced today.

The local arts organization also announced its holiday party Twinkle, which will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, beginning at 7 p.m. Cram said Falls Church Arts will give out prizes for the best dressed twinkling partygoers at the holiday party, which is free and open to all.

The deadline for submission to Falls Church Arts’ Abstract Art Show, which will run from Jan. 8 – Feb. 9 next year, has been extended to Sunday, Dec. 14 at 9 p.m.

Falls Church Arts is also looking for several artist volunteers for its ChalkWalks/Chalk Murals at the 17th annual Watch Night New Year’s Eve party. Potential volunteers can call 703-679-7881 or e-mail info@fallschurcharts.org for more information.
