Personal Property Tax Due Monday; F.C. Vehicle Decals Must Be Displayed by Nov. 16

Virginia Personal Property Tax is due next Monday, Oct. 6 with a 10 percent penalty assessed to all payments not received or postmarked by the date. City residents can make payments via mail, in person at the treasurer’s office at City Hall (300 Park Ave., Suite 103) or after hours at the treasurer drop box in the East Wing, G2 level, or online at www.fallschurchva.gov/OnlineBillPay.

The City of F.C. also sent out a press release reminding residents that yellow 2015 City of Falls Church vehicle decals must be displayed on all vehicles residing within City limits by Sunday, November 16.  Vehicles not displaying the decal will be ticketed by City of F.C. police. Decals were mailed along with personal property tax bills in early September.

Those who did not receive a bill or decal should contact the treasurer’s office at 703-248-5046 or by email at treasurer@fallschurchva.gov.
