F.C. Council Votes to Hire Arlington County Attorney as New F.C. Attorney

By a unanimous vote tonight, the Falls Church City Council voted to retain Carol W. McCoskrie of Arlington as its new City Attorney after a lengthy search process. A specialist in land use and development law, she also provided support to the Arlington School Board and on personnel matters in Arlington.

Falls Church Mayor David Tarter, who said he’s known Ms. McCoskrie on a professional basis for a number of years, said “Carol is an excellent choice.” “This outcome is a very good one,” Councilman Phil Duncan added.
