Miguel Bermudez Alvarado of Falls Church is Missing

Fairfax County police are looking for Miguel Bermudez Alvarado of Falls Church, who was reported missing by his family on Sunday evening, according to a press release from the Fairfax County Police. According to the press release, Alvarado was last seen at his family’s home in the 7600 block of Broadway Drive in Falls Church on August 9, around 9 p.m.

Alvarado is not familiar with the area and may appear confused, according to the press release, and speaks very little English. The police said that Alvarado has been known to walk the neighborhood and to Jefferson District Park and has prescribed several medications that he may need.

Alvarado has been described as white, about 5 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He is 69 years old and possibly wearing a blue backpack, according to the police.
