Benton Leads D.C. Book Discussion Sunday

Falls Church News-Press owner-editor Nicholas F. Benton is slated to ride at the head of the Capital Gay Pride parade this Saturday, beginning at 4 p.m., as one of those hailed as a “2014 Capital Pride Hero” this year. Sunday at noon Benton will led a discussion of his new book Extraordinary Hearts: Reclaiming Gay Sensibility’s Central Role in the Progress of Civilization at the First Congregational Church, 10th and G Streets NW, just three blocks from the Capital Pride Festival on Pennsylvania Ave. that runs from noon to 7 p.m.
