Falls Church has an amazing farmer’s market. One of the best in the whole D.C. area. But if you decide to live it up and party to the wee hours Saturday morning, you may end up sleeping in and missing the whole thing. Have no fear, market frequenters, Merrifield now has its very-own farmer’s market taking place on Sunday.
The Mosaic Central Farm Market debuted earlier this month featuring over 30 vendors slinging fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and a plethora of other local goods. Just some of the vendors include the liquid-nitrogen ice cream creators Nicecream, the meat pie purveyors, pure Pasty Co., the meat mavens at MeatCrafters and Falls Church’s very own Sweet Belly Cookies.
The Mosaic Central Farm Market takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Sunday, at the Mosaic District in Merrifield.
