Local tai chi students from Falls Church, Bethesda, and Georgetown University gathered at Woodacres Park last Saturday morning for World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, joining the global celebration of practicing tai chi and qigong. At the event, hosted by Falls Church’s Sun and Moon Taiji One, attendees stretched, sweated, moved, pushed, and laughed while sharing the positive energy of the health exercises and martial arts. Sun and Moon Taiji One is located at Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do, 1136 W. Broad St., Falls Church.
