F.C. City Public Works Announces Paving Schedule

Through May 2, the City of Falls Church Department of Public Works will be paving  select City streets and replacing curb and gutter and sidewalk sections. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

There will be no parking allowed in work areas during those hours. Parking restriction signs will be in place at least 48 hours in advance. All streets will remain open to traffic; residents and businesses will have access to driveways and entrances.

Work will take place on Laura Avenue (concrete only), from S. West Street to City limits; N. Virginia Avenue, from W. Broad Street to Great Falls Street; N. Maple Avenue, from Great Falls Street to W. Jefferson Street; and S. Cherry Street, from E. Broad Street to City limits.
