‘Buskapade’ Brings Student Music to F.C. Farmers’ Market

Local music teacher Larry Rice will be joining several of his students in song at the City of Falls Church Farmers’ Market this Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. – noon., for a “Buskapade” music event that will raise donations for his students.

Rice and his students will be performing on the Park Avenue side of the market by the West Wing of Falls Church City Hall. 

Guitar student Harrish Ganesh will play from 9 – 9:30 a.m.; songwriting student Ron Lipps will play from 9:30 – 10 a.m.; Jay and Lea Ridgeway, banjo and mandolin students, will play from 10 – 10:30 a.m.; Tirtha Ratnam, guitar and songwriting student, will play from 10:30 – 11 a.m.; fiddle students Joni Douglass and Kerry Altman will play from 11 – 11:30 a.m.; and Natalie Given and Claire Camarca, guitar and songwriting students, will play from 11:30 a.m. – noon. They’ll be joined by Rice on fiddle. 

Any donations received while the students are performing will go to the students.
