AgingUp & Marymount Team Up for Free Senior Education Classes

On each of the five Thursdays in May, a professor from Marymount University will share his or her expertise on high-priority, practical issues for seniors in a series of free classes sponsored by AgingUp, an interfaith organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Falls Church and McLean.

The class will discuss topics such as downsizing or aging safely and comfortably in one’s home, getting the most from medical visits, exercising and reducing the risk of falls, getting along with adult children, and using video games and other technologies to improve mental and physical fitness.

The classes will take place on Thursdays in May from 10 a.m.—noon at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St. Class size is limited. Those interested in registering may do so at the community center in person or by phone at 703-248-5027.
