Scout Project Brings 3D Printer Demo to F.C. Library

As part of a local Boy Scout’s Eagle Scout Project, a 3D printer demonstration will be offered at Mary Riley Styles Public Library this Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

The demonstration will feature a display of five working 3D printers and examples of 3D printed objects.

The event, which is part of Troop 895 Boy Scout Jacob Bruner’s Eagle project, is free and open to the public. The ultimate goal of the project is to install a publicly accessible 3D printer in the library.

Mary Riley Styles Public Library is located at 120 N. Virginia Ave., Falls Church.
