City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for October 21 – 27, 2013

Driving Under the Influence and Eluding Police, 100 block N. Virginia Ave. On Oct. 21, a male, 36, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Eluding Police.

Larceny from Vehicle and Vandalism to Vehicle, 6623 Wilson Blvd. On Oct. 21, a vehicle parked over the weekend had been damaged with a window smashed in and equipment stolen from inside.

Shoplifting, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Oct. 22, police received a report that an unknown male stole five liquor bottles on Oct. 17. The individual is described as 20-25 years of age, wearing a multi-colored short sleeve shirt, brown pants, beige shoes, and a black knit cap.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 1100 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 24, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Great Falls St. On Oct. 24, a male, 36, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 100 block N. Washington St. On Oct. 25, an unknown suspect smashed a vehicle window. No items were taken.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 200 block Little Falls St. On Oct. 27, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 38, of The City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.

Other Arrests

Failure to Appear, On Oct. 25, a male, 31, of Pikeville, NC, was found and arrested in the City of Hopewell, VA for Failure to Appear in Falls Church General District Court to answer to a July 2010 charge of Driving with a Suspended License.
