The City of Falls Church’s 38th Annual Fall Festival and Taste of Falls Church will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Community Center, 223 Little Falls St.
The event, put on by the City’s Recreation and Parks Department, will usher in the autumn season with live entertainment, amusement rides, pony rides, crafters, businesses, and booths staffed by civic organizations.
The Fall Festival will again highlight the area’s popular restaurants with the Taste of Falls Church. Festival goers can sample cuisine from City restaurant kitchens for $3 per “taste” or 10 “tastes” for $25.
Restaurants set to participate are Argia’s, Clare and Don’s Beach Shack, Curry Mantra 2, Dogwood Tavern, Flippin’ Pizza, Haandi Indian Cuisine, Hoang’s Grill and Sushi Bar, Ireland’s Four Provinces, Ledo Pizza, Nourish Market, Original Pancake House, Pilin Thai, Pizzeria Orso, Sfizi Cafe, Sweet Rice, and Zinga Frozen Yogurt.
A children’s activity tent, sponsored by MoBu Kids, will be open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. featuring free craft projects.
Admission to the festival is free to the public. The event will be held rain or shine.
Main-stage entertainment this year features Blue Sky Puppets at 10 a.m., Ken Smith Band at 11 a.m., Billy Coulter Band at 12:15 p.m., Judo Chop at 1:30 p.m., and Scott Kurt and Memphis 59 at 2:45 p.m., with performances by Nicolo the Juggler throughout.
