City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for August 12 – 18, 2013

Obstruction of Justice, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 12, a male, 42, of Falls Church was arrested for Obstruction of Justice.

Larceny from Building, 500 block W. Broad St. On Aug. 14, an unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle from a parking rack sometime overnight.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 100 block S. Virginia Ave. On Aug. 15, a male, 42, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Graffiti, 2328 Oak St. (Mt. Daniel Elementary School) On Aug. 15, graffiti were found on the playground asphalt.

Trespass, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 15, a female, 37, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Narcotics Violation, 100 block S. Spring St. On Aug. 15, a male, 21, of Washington, DC, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 900 block N. Tuckahoe St. On Aug. 16, an unknown suspect(s) stole four tires from a vehicle sometime overnight.

Larceny from Building, 1107 W. Broad St. (U-Haul) On Aug. 16, a box trailer was reported stolen sometime after Aug. 1.

Disorderly Conduct, 112 N. West St. (Mike’s Lazy Sundae) On Aug. 16, a male, 52, of Spring Grove, PA, was arrested and released on summons for Disorderly Conduct.

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Aug. 16, an unknown suspect(s) stole an iPhone from the locker room.

Petit Larceny, 110 N. West St. (7-Eleven) On Aug. 16, a male, 45, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Petit Larceny.

Public Drunkenness and Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 17, a male, 45, of Vienna, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Driving Under the Influence, 804 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Aug. 17, a female, 57, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Providing False ID to Law Enforcement, 200 block S. Oak St. On Aug. 18, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver provided an officer with a false name. A male, 31, of Falls Church, was arrested for Providing False ID to Law Enforcement.

Shoplifting, 100 Hillwood Ave. (Aalans Service) On Aug. 18, an unknown suspect stole cigarette cartons from the store. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20`s, with dark hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a design on the front, light colored cargo shorts and dark sneakers.
