20th Annual Tinner Hill Fest Brings Blues to Cherry Hill Park

Last weekend, the 20th annual Tinner Hill Blues Festival brought a three-day celebration of all things blues music to the City of Falls Church. The main event of the festival was a set of open-air performances representing a range of blues music that filled Cherry Hill Park with music and dancing from noon into the evening hours. Performers at the event included boogie-woogie pianist Daryl Davis, singer-songwriter Mary Ann Redmond, and guitarist Big Bill Morganfield, the son of blues great Muddy Waters. (Photos: J.
