Teen Robbed at Cavalier Trail Park Wednesday

A 17-year old boy was robbed and assaulted at Cavalier Trail Park in the City of Falls Church Wednesday night, police reported today.

Police say the victim was walking through the park on at 9:45 p.m. on May 29 when he was approached by two Hispanic males. The suspects demanded his cell phone and wallet and then threw the victim to the ground and assaulted him. The two suspects made off with money from the victim.

The first suspect is described as around 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with the Adidas logo on the front, dark jeans and shoes, with his face covered with a bandanna.

The second suspect is described as being in his mid-20s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and stocky. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and shoes, and his face was partially obscured by his hood.

The City of Falls Church Police Department asks that anyone with information related to this incident to contact them at 703-248-5053.
