F.C. Schools to Honor Retiring Employees

A reception and ceremony will be held tomorrow night to celebrate the service of 13 retiring Falls Church City Public Schools employees.

Those retiring employees are Larry Allen, band aide; Marco De Las Casas, bus driver and courier; Adele Eskin, Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School librarian; Virginia Hamilton, MEH teacher; Connie Jenkins, MEH band teacher; Pamela Keller, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School speech therapist; Bertha Monteverde, food services employee at George Mason High School; Robert Nissen, maintenance supervisor; Linda Orr, Mount Daniel School paraprofessional; Peggy Payne, MD kindergarten teacher; Kenneth Siekman, GM assistant principal; Sue Thackerey, MD paraprofessional; and Mareen Zafros, MD kindergarten teacher.

A reception will be held at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School in their honor starting at 4:30 p.m., with a ceremony at 5 p.m.
