Affordable Housing Forum Thursday in F.C.

The second of two community forums seeking public input on a draft City of Falls Church Affordable Housing Policy will be held tonight in the club room of the Winter Hill Senior Center, 330-B S. Virginia Ave. at 7 p.m. The draft policy, according to a City statement, “provides guidance as to how the City should address the diverse housing needs of its current and future populations.” However, tonight’s hearing, like the first one last week, will suffer from a conflict of other City-involved community meetings. Last week, it was the all-school PTA meeting addressed by the mayor, city manager and school superintendent. Tonight, it will be the joint City Council and School Board meeting on future facilities development.
