Interfaith World Peace Service Set for Nov. 11 in Arlington

A Day for World Peace will be observed on Nov. 11 at an interfaith service involving three congregations — one Muslim, one Jewish, and one Christian.

The service will take place at Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ in Arlington, which will be joined by the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center of Falls Church and the Jewish Etz Hayim Congregation of Arlington in hosting the service. The theme for the day will be “Common Ancestry, Common Journey: Following Abraham, Forging Peace.”

All are invited to attend the service, schedule for 11 a.m. Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ is located at 5010 Little Falls Road, Arlington. For more information, call 703-538-4886.
