Volunteers Invited to F.C.’s Fall Community Clean-Up & Picnic

Volunteers of all ages are needed for the City of Falls Church’s Fall Community Clean-Up on Saturday, Oct. 13 starting at 10 a.m.

All registered volunteers should meet at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., Falls Church, to collect a litter kit and instructions.

All volunteers of City government programs – including the Community Clean-Up, Board and Commission members, mentors, bingo callers, library volunteers, and Neighborhood Tree Planting participants – are invited to the City’s first annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic.

Volunteers can meet at the Cherry Hill Park pavilion, 312 Park Ave., Falls Church, for an afternoon of fun starting at 12:30 p.m.
