Marshall Picks Hall of Famer Softball Coach

George C. Marshall High School announced this week the hiring of Missy Whittington as its new head softball coach.

Whittington has spent the past two seasons as a varsity assistant at James Madison High School, where she played on a state championship team and is a member in the hall of fame.

Whittington’s sons graduated from Marshall High, where they excelled in the classroom and in a number of sports.
