More than 200 kids participated this summer in a free baseball clinic funded by Bryce Harper, outfielder for the Washington Nationals. Falls Church High School Baseball head coach Freddie Rappina and assistant Paul Johnson volunteered to serve at the clinic.
Rappina has been a head baseball coach at Falls Church High for more than two years now and is also a Fairfax County police officer. Johnson just joined the coaching staff at Falls Church High last spring and will be coming on board as a Health and Physical Education teacher this school year.
