City of F.C. Collects Supplies for Students in Need

The City of Falls Church Housing and Human Services Department is collecting new, unused school supplies for middle and high school students in the City.

In this challenging financial climate some families in the City have a difficult time buying school supplies for their children. To help meet this need, Housing and Human Services is accepting donations of school supplies through Aug. 23. Items needed include: backpacks, binders, dividers, folders, notebooks, post-it notes, compasses, protractors, rulers, pens, markers, highlighters, pencil pouches, hand sanitizer, deodorant, and tissues. Donations to the School Family Assistance Program and gift cards may also be given.

Donations may be dropped off at City Hall, G Level, 300 Park Ave., Falls Church, Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
