Sunset Cinema Returns with 3 Family-Friendly Films

The City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department will present the ninth annual Sunset Cinema in the Park on Fridays this summer.

The 2012 Sunset Cinema movies are: “The Lorax” (Aug. 24), “Dolphin Tale” (Aug. 31), and “The Muppets” (Sept. 7).

The free screenings of family-friendly movies begin at 8 p.m. in Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Ave., Falls Church. Moviegoers are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics. Popcorn, drinks, and ice cream will be available for purchase. In the event of inclement weather, the movies will be canceled. For more information, call 703-248-5027.
