Jones Named Co-Chair of Virtual Learning Task Force

Falls Church City Public Schools Superintendent Toni Jones has been appointed to the Virginia School Board Association Task Force on Virtual Learning. Jones will co-chair the panel along with Richmond City School Board member Kim Bridges.

The task force is charged with the goal of developing an interim written report by Oct. 4 for the VSBA Board of Directors. The task force will review best practices in other states and schools, as well as relevant Virginia laws and regulations applicable to virtual learning, and will then recommend new state and local policy frameworks and submit an interim report with recommendations for next steps and future areas of work.
