F.C. Rite Aid Robbed

Police responded to the report of a robbery at the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 7395 Lee Highway in Falls Church Thursday, shortly before 1:30 p.m.

Police say a man walked into the store, implied that he had a weapon and demanded cash. He left with an unknown amount of money and cartons of cigarettes. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, in his 40s; about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a yellow shirt with darker horizontal lines, black shorts, white socks, black shoes, and a light colored baseball cap.

The suspect was last seen running east toward the Safeway.
