Blues Fest Fundraising Kicks Off with Garden Concert

Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation will present the “Red, White, Blues and Banjos: A Celebration of Traditional American Music” concert this Saturday.

Rhode Island-based husband and wife duo Atwater and Donnelly will perform at the concert, the first fundraiser for next summer’s Tinner Hill Blues Festival.

The pair combines vocals with an array of instruments like the mountain dulcimer, old-time banjo, tin whistle, guitar, mandolin and harmonica.

The concert will take place from 5 – 8 p.m. in the gardens of a 1913 Sears Kit home in the City of Falls Church.

Tickets are $30, and included in that cost is a dessert buffet.
