CSI Wins Special Events Gala Award for Best Festival

CSI, the Falls Church-based special event management firm, was awarded The Special Events 2012 Gala Award for Best Fair/Festival in January during The Special Events conference in Tampa, Florida. CSI’s award-winning event, called “It’s Cool to be a Geek”, was the USA Science and Engineering Festival held on the National Mall in October 2011.

The two-day outdoor Expo featured more than 800 booths with 1,500 hands-on, interactive activities and 75 stage shows, all stretched over a mile and a half of downtown D.C.

This was the inaugural event for USASEF and was successful beyond even the stakeholders’ expectations. For more information visit www.csi-dc.com.
